Hi Dr. Braverman
I am currently one of your patients and have suffered from spontaneous "missed abortions" in the past which you were actually able to diagnose as multiple issues which are high antithryoid antibodies, 5 HLA matches, high TH1/2 , high NK cells and high sperm frag (which we were able to correct, thx!) so since all these discoveries we were able to apply some treatments of Intralipids, predisone and baby aspirin (no lovenox due to Factor 7 & 10). My last 2 cycles resulted in chemicals pregnancies, the most concerning on was recent when I was able to make it to transfer with 4 embyros (2 with no frag, and 2 with minimum 5-25% frag) which resulted in a chemical pregnancy again. I'm losing hope on this issue and now seriously considering changing clinics to Boston IVF for what will probably be my last cycle, I'm running out of time and money and I'm not sure how much hope I should have left, do you think I was just a victim of statistics this time or maybe an adjustment in meds is needed? This was my 10 pregnancy within the last 3 years, no live births yet with my current husband!

Please call me so that we can go over your case there are always different regimens to try and I need to look at the other issues of embryo quality with you. We may want to consider placing you in our neupogen program.

Hi Dr. Braverman
I will be calling in to make a consultation appt with you if I can convince my husband that we should try again. But here is the current IVF cycle breakdown
I did a priming patch, clomid 100 mg+ 150 of gonal F 2xday protocal(never made it to Cetrotide) (mind you the RE always had me maxxed out on 600 IU a day of Gonal F and my other cycles were always cancelled due to "poor response" and as soon as I cut my dose in half I make it to ET, whatever, thats just the tip of my frustration with this clinic and why I may change to Boston IVF)........ I yielded 6 follicles (E2 1000+) 4 eggs at retrieval which all four fertilized and they were transferred after 42 hours.
My embyros were 2-2AF (2 cell with no frag and fair symmetry), 1-2BF (5-25% frag, fair symmetry) and 1-4BF (4 cell 5-25%frag with fair symmetry), I asked them to please do a 3 or 5 day transfer so that I could have some idea of how the embryos looked at transfer but they refused and said the best place for them was in my uterus.
Anyways they had me do estrace 9 days after my retrieval which made me bleed a little for 2 days, which i wasn't surprised seeing Estace always makes me break thru bleed. I had positive pregnancy tests for a week before my Beta test, my 1st beta was 32, 2nd- 37, 3rd was 21.5 and my last was 5. I then briefly bled for 1 day on Friday and have had spotting ever since. I'm assuming I dont need a D&C and will eventually get a normal period. I want to try a new cyle but my husband is back on his meds which will probably cause his sperm frag to go up again and he's so discouraged that this cycle didn't work that he just doesnt think its worth trying, do you think my embryos were bad?
Any thoughts would be great to convey to my hubby
Thanx

Yes I think you should try again , and we should address the HLA matches, I have had great success with this in my G-CSF protocol. Here we force the messenger cells of the immune system to accept his genetics which dramatically decreases the miscarriage rate in our experience. Please call and have him on the line during the consult and i will explain all of the very carefully.
