Hi!
I have had 3 miscarriages: chemical pregnancy, blighted ovum and just had another one at 7 weeks (great heartbeat and everything was measuring really well). I was being closely monitored with the last pregnancy, frequent ultrasounds, bloodwork, etc). I started bleeding, went to the doctor for ultrasound, again, everything looked good and then I went home and immediately miscarried. My doctor was very surprised that this happened since I was progressing so well! I am completely devasted and scared for the future. I have a 3 year old son and had absolutely no issues during that pregnancy. I have long cycles (usually around 45 days) and I have a great doctor that wants to do an internal x ray to look at my uterus, of course I am eager to try and get pregnant again so this will definitely pro long everything since I have to wait until I get my period. I have had so much blood work done (no clotting issues, etc). My doctor feels that all 3 pregnancies were just things not aligning but I can't go through another loss. Any suggestions??
Thank you!
las

I would think that the word "aligning" should be changed to an implantation issue and this needs to be investigated. I agree that a uterine cavity investigation needs to be performed, I prefer hysteroscopy in these cases as it gives a much clearer veiw . Its unlikely however this is the issue as you have had a Full Term pregnancy already.
Then , if normal , you must have a full immune workup prior to trying to concieve again. I would be happy to assist you on this if you would like. The good news is that most women that have already had a full term pregnancy , with correct treatment , have another child.
