3 recurrent losses after 3 successful pregnancies

I have 3 children, all who had both easy conceptions and easy pregnancies. I never even considered that it would be possible for me to lose a baby.

I conceived again when my youngest (#3) was 3 years old. And I lost that baby. And lost another baby a few months later. And am now probably losing a third baby.

U/S for my 2 losses dated my babies at less than 6 weeks. They had gestational sac, yolk sac, and fetal pole - but no heartbeat that I ever saw b/c I was not doing early u/s. (But it really may have been there and I just never got to see it). My first loss had beta doubling issues from the beginning and m/c at 7 weeks. My second loss had extremely great beta numbers and doubling until around 6-7 weeks - and m/c at 13 weeks.

If I lose my current pregnancy baby, this baby will date less than 6 weeks - maybe less than 5 weeks.

I have not had the proper testing but have had some. I have MTHFR homozygous c677t. I have IgA deficiency plus a bunch of odd immune/autoimmune issues - and a history of +ANA. I don't have proper testing of NK, but the limited Quest testing shows extremely low NK activity (which I think may correlate with my low IgA?).

For this current pregnancy only, I've been treated by a non-RI immunologist with IVIG, lovenox, prednisone, progesterone supps, 81mg aspirin, mb-12, methyl folate, p5p b6, wobenzyme, and fish oil. AND, this current pregnancy is looking like it will be my *earliest loss* - despite all of this treatment. So I'm kind of wondering if some of the treatment was off.

FWIW, I conceive easily.

So here are my questions:
1- How can I have 3 easy pregnancies - and then start losing babies?
2- Why is my treated current pregnancy producing my earliest loss/earliest beta plateau?
3- Do you think that someone like me can have just one more take-home baby?

Thanks so much :)

Yes I think you can , but you also cant be treated with such a complex set of immune therapies without a complete and proper workup as sometimes the treatments can become the problem . I would be happy to assist you if you would like, just call the office and they will schedule a consultation wtih me.

Thank you so much for replying. Does the 3 successful pregnancies followed by recurrent losses indicate anything special? Does that mean immune losses? I have a hard time understanding how I could have mthfr losses, when I've had that mutation thru all of my pregnancies. Thanks :)

Most of the times when we see this there is a new issue that has just developed , and most of the times this is something related to the immune system.
