Hello,

Im 29 & struggling with recurrent miscarriages. It all started almost 3 years ago when I had a stillbirth due to a true knot in his cord at 22 weeks. Since that time we have had 6 consecutive losses all at 7w4days ish.. i always have a heartbeat and good intital betas and then they just stop doubling. My heartbeats are always fantastic. This time it was 146 at 6w6d. I have PCOS, homozygous Mthfr A1298, hasimotos, and a positive ANA. Just yesterday this pregnancy ultrasound confirmed that the heartbeat was gone. We have tried so many things so far. This time Prednisone, progesterone, estridol, folgaurd, and heparin after hb detection..... and still here we are. So lost. We have had genetic testing after D&C's but they always come back normal female karotype. Which could be me or the baby... NO answers other than that. We are in Colorado and would love suggestions.

I am very sorry for your losses, I cant imagine how difficult this must be for you. Please know however that most of these cases are treatable once we identify the reasons for the losses. You have only had a partial workup done to this point and it is imperative in cases such as these that the treatments are tailored to the problem and you are monitored with adjustments in the treatments as you go along.
I would suggest that you call the office and schedule a consult with me, I would be happy to help you. Dont despair, my practice is filled with successful patients with history just like yours. I suspect the 22 week loss may not have been due to the knot.
