Hi Dr. Braverman,
i was a patient of yours in December 2010. I saw you after having 7 unexplained miscarriages. I oddly became pregnant after only a consultation with you and you monitored me until my 11th week. I had a very eventful pregnancy, but ultimately gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She is 9 1/2 months old now.
I just found out I was pregnant again on 5/22. I immediately made an appt with my Ob to be pprescribed progesterone due to my history of low levels. I was pprescribed prometrium 200mg once daily. My initial beta at 4 weeks was
2082 and my progesterone was 10.2. My repeat bloodwork 2 days later was beta 4500 and progesterone 10. The prometrium was increased to ttwice daily.
I have oonly been on progesterone suppositories but I was told by my Ob that there is no evidence either is more effective.
On u/s at 4 wk 1 day there was a sac.
Based on my levels, do u think there is hope this pregnancy is viable? And do u agree with the oral progesterone?
I am so scared and Want nothing more than to bd given the chance tk have another baby.

Thank you,
jamie

All looks good to me. I agree with the dose of progesterone. Please continue to follow your doctors advice seems like he understands what to do. Did you have any immune treatments with your last pregnancy, its always a good idea to copy what worked last time. If you are local you should come in to see me.
