I got my results from Dr Gorgy in london and the DQa results are really worrying me
Me 0303, 0501 = 3.1, 4.1
Hubby 0301, 0505 = 3.1, 4.1
So thats a 50% match

TNFa was 21.1 (13.2-30.6)
IFN 8.0 (5.8-20.5)

Nka 50:1 8.2 (10-40)
CD56% 11.6 (2-12)
I am waiting on my LAD result.

Is 50% match really bad news? What treatment will i need?
Hashimoto's
rheumatoid arthritis
positive antithyroid antibodies.
Immune testing notable results =
very high Thyroid Antibodies >3000

mildly positive ANA speckled pattern

upper range CD3% 85.3% (60-85) and CD56% 11.6 (2-12)
and very high CD19+
CD5+ cells 22.2% (2-12)

this is a 100% match not a 50%, but still without knowing all the other HLA matches you can not draw conclusions. The other labs look fine.

Treatment is never based on labs alone the entire clinical history must be taken into account. Hope this helps.

many other HLA genes such as DQbeta HLA A, HLA B, HLA C, HLA DRB to name a few , you need a complete set.

I have since read that 100% match with NKa+ is a very serious issue and even IVIg and intralipds may not help.

You may find people speculationg about it but you wont find any articles about it because it is not true, in fact there is good literature, and my vast experience to the contrary.
