My TSH level has been over 4 for the last 10 month. My free T3 and free T4 are normal. My dr. insists that I am not hypo and do not need treatment. I have lost a baby in Nov 2011 due to pprom in Oct 2011 at 18w2d. We have not been able to get pregnant since and I am conerned that it has something to do with my TSH. I have not had a TSH test prior to this loss so cannot compare notes. I have had a placental abruption at 35 weeks in my previous pregnancy in 2005. I also had a full term baby in 2001. At this point its a toss up between IC or something else. I also have hetero factor II mutation. Any word of advice would be appriciated. Thank you in advance.

I would look into the cause of the elevated TSH(it is elevated we like to see it between 1 and 2. If there is antiobody production against the thryoid this is very possibly playing a part in your losses. There are other issues that may be associtated as well and a complete workup in your case is certainly warranted as most can be successfuly treated.
