Hi Dr Braverman,
You diagnosed me with an auto immune and alloimmune disorder. My question is: if I get pregnant naturally and the Nk cells attack the embryo, would implantation still occur prior to that happening and would the blood still show HCG levels before the body aborted it and my period came? Meaning if I did a beta test 10 days post ovulation, could it show positive (and therefore be saved with immediate use of immune suppressants) or never because of the NK cell attack?
Please advise
thank you!

you can start treatment with a postive beta HCG many make it to that point, but clearly the best treatment is that which is started prior to implantation. many dont have the luxury of treating every cycle and simply call us with a postive beta but as you mentioned you must test early and notify us early . Good Luck.

Thank you for your response!!! Just to clarify, it is possible to get a positive HCG even if there is an attack on the embryo going on?
