Hi Dr. Braverman,
We have been trying for a baby for three years now. I am 31, husband 34.
I have had three miscarriages (11 weeks, 8 weeks, & 6 weeks) following all I had a D & C. All three foetuses were sent off to pathology with no negative results, no abnormalities and no answers as to why we miscarried. The first two were male the third female.
I have had two hysteroscopy, showing I have a partial septum. My Ob said he nibbled away at the bottom of the septum but it was to thick to remove as the scar tissue would possibly cause further issues. Further to this I have been told to hang in there and keep trying. We decided to give IVF a go. My husband's sperm results showed a mixture of antibodies. I have now had a fresh cycle and a frozen cycle both being unsuccessful. We will be using our last embryo early next month.
I also only have one ovary and fallopian tube due to the other being removed from a surrounding tumour when I was 10.
We really would like some answers and most importantly we would love a family. It is heartbreaking as time keeps slipping away.
Can you suggest any answers or direction for us to continue this journey or should we continue as we are???

I am very sorry for your losses. One thing is certain, do not continue without a proper work up.There are many obvious issues that could be causing these problems , even possibly the fact your first pregnancy was a male. Almost all can be treated, I feel the septum was not your issue as these are generally thin and avascular so I suspect this was not a significant issue. I would be happy to help you with a complete evaluation. Call my ofice and they will schedule a consultation for you.
