Question: My FSH level is greater than 50, being so, I am diagnosed with post ovarion failure. Is there a way to help me lower my FSH level and possibly reproduce my own eggs?

A bit about myself:
I was told when I was born I had chicken pox which to me is an early sign of an auto-immune problem. I began my menstrual cycle at the age of 9 and it ended at the age of 21. Not thinking anything is wrong I went to see a GYN a year later. He put me on birth control right away but nothing worked he then tried some other types of medications and forced my menstrual periods to begin once again. The only problem with this is that I had to be on birth controls for that moment on, and was diagnosed to be pre-menopausal.

A couple of years later I began to develop strange bruises on my arms and went to see a dermatologist who then took a biopsy and recommended me to see a rheumatologist. The rhematologist right away diagnosed me with Lupus, but not the one that's within my blood stream but rather just on my skin. I was given Plaquenil to limit the process of what it was doing to my skin.

As time went buy I wanted to have a child when i met my other half.
I began to see a few infertility physicians who all came to the same end result, I had my FSH levels to be too high for my age and I was also diagnosed with pre-ovarion failure. I really don't want to give up and feel that I should be able to do something. So I kept searching for the right place to say.. Let's try this.. But I am trying to deal with having the idea of possibly going with donor egg. All I'm asking is to give me a chance and hopefully see if my auto- immune system can actually be healthy once again.

you clearly have 2 issues to be aware of . yes if there are high level of anti ovarian antibodies we have had some success in treating this but it is very limited. but if you move on to donor egg you must still deal with the immune issues as they could compromise implantation of even donor eggs so this must be investigated and treated prior to proceeding with a donor egg cycle.

Does that mean that I might have a slight chance to turn this around?

yes thats correct, but please understand it is limited. again donor egg treatment is still necessary for you if you proceed with that route.
