could FET failure be immunity issue?

Just got a negative from my first FET (1 "perfect" 4AA hatching blast).
I'm 36, healthy (regular cycles, low FSH, high AFC, good lining) - male factor only. The IVF last year to create my embryos caused OHSS leading to DVT and PE. I tested negative for all clotting disorders and was on 40mg/day Lovenox for this cycle.
We tried for 6 years on our own before IVF and have never, ever had a pregnancy. My husband has consistently bad morphology (

There seem like a few issues here that would need to be addressed. One is insulin resistance with a history of OHSS, that can lead to failure of an excellent embryo to implant. The other is the male factor and lastly there could be stimullation issues that resulted in teh OHSS that need to be addressed. I would be happy to assist you with these issues, feef free to call my office and they can schedule a consulation with me.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. I am surprised/confused by your response:

RE insulin resistance: I am 5'3", 117lbs, BMI 21, very fit, never had a weight-problem; I've eaten a grain-free "paleo" diet for over 3 years - organic, natural & by definition low-carb; I don't like or eat sweets; and there's no family history of diabetes. Why would insulin resistance be an issue in my case?

The stimulation was a year ago – could that be affecting the FET this year? (I did 4 back- to-back egg retrievals March through May 2012: First was natural, no stims, Lupron trigger, 2 eggs, 0 mature. Then 3-cycle pkg of mini-IVF : stim with clomid + 1-2 doses of follistim. The first two cycles, 6 eggs retrieved each time, only 3 mature eggs total from those 2 cycles. I didn't respond well to Lupron trigger. Final mini-IVF was same stims w/ hcg trigger - 10 eggs, all mature, 7 blasts. OHSS immediately after retrieval. My clinic was out of state and the OHSS was not well managed - I had no local dr to evaluate me, which I believe added to the bad outcome.)

Should I still call for a consultation?

we see all ranges of insulin resistance from those with the typical outward features and then those that only show up with OHSS(which many times is caused by insulin pushing primordial follicles to the antral follicle stage and hence the OHSS). Yes I would still call.
