Drop in progesterone Levels

Hello Dr Braverman.

I am currently 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant with an ivf pregnancy. I had my second lot of bloods today and my progesterone level has dropped substancially.

My levels are below:

4 weeks 4 days HCG: 343 Progesterone:415

5 weeks 4 days HCG: 3689 Progesterone: 75

I am on pregnyl injections of 1.5 every three days.

Does this mean my lining is starting to shed? what would cause it to drop so much?

I am so worried that this pregnancy is going to end in miscarriage. I really dont know what to do. The nurse said it is not looking promising. Do you have any encouraging words please?

there appears to be an appropriate rise in HCG, are the progesterone levels in US units or Europe, if US then these are fine. In these cases if I am concerned that I cant get the level up on PIO injections I will add one crinone vaginally. I am not as concnerned about progesterone levels if beta HCG is rising.

I am from Perth Western Australia where the Metric System is used for Measurements
Does this mean my levels are questionable?

This is still fine , just take your progesterone injections daily .
