Dear Dr Braverman,

What kind of supplements would you recommend to your patients who have elevated ATA (normal TSH), if treated with Prednisolone (10mg), low dose aspirin (100mg) & progesterone (200mg).

My sincere thanks.

Nicole

there are no supplements I recommend for elevated ATA alone, I usualy guide that decision based on our immune workup so we can decide on the need for anti inflammatory supplements or maybe even those that assist auto immune or egg quality . It would require a full history to give you accurate advice.
Melatonin works well with many auto immune issues 3mg at bedtime would most likely be beneficail. Again this is not based on your history so your doctor has to make the final recommendations.
