ENDO / ADENO - Causes & Potential Treatment

Dr Braverman, I have endometriosis and adenomayosis and as a result - elevated NK, TNF and cytotoxicity; and PAI 4G 4G.

No PCOS, no thyroid issues, no antibodies. What are the common causes of endo/adeno and how would you treat them prior to IVF?

Hope You could help me with the answer here...

Endometriosis(and adenomyosis) are typically the result of underlying autoimmune issues, most likely those that have elvated IL17 levels. The first job is to identify which underlying autoimmune issue we are dealing with then the treatment is tailored to that diagnosis , not the endometriosis. Most centers do not have any expereince in making these diagnosis so the treatments are random and therefore not consistantly successful.
