Hello dr Braverman,

We live in The Netherlands and we don't have an immunologist here so I travelled to Germany to have a full immune panel. According to the immunologist I had the following results (only stating the values not in the reference range):

NK-Cells-CD16/56
- relative: 20% (reference: 6-20%)
- Absolute: 486 /ul (reference: 50-400)

Active T Cells-CD3, HLA DR
- relative: 6% (reference: 0-8%)
- Absolute: 146 /ul (reference: 0-90)

Active Helper-cell-CD4, HLA DR
- relative: 4% (reference: 0-4%)
- Absolute: 87 /ul (reference: 0-60)

Active Supp.-Cell-CD8, CD38
- Relative: 17% (reference: 0-20%)
- Absolute: 413 / ul (reference: 0-400)

CD8+/CD11a high T-Cells
- Relative: 41% (reference:

There is no informaiton in these labs that allows me to give you an opinion. Please look at the Diagnostic Testing Section of my webstie to see the labs you should have. I would be happy to help organize this for you . Please fill out a consult form on my website and we can schedule a free 10 minute chat to reveiw your case.

Sorry, but we live in Europe and it is impossible for us to travel to the US. I have my FET in a couple of weeks.

Please can you answer this question:
- Can I use fish-oil instead of intralipids?
- If I need intralipids, what frequency do you recommend and until which pregnancy week?

You do not have to come here for us to help you , we have cared for many patients in Europe, we can get all the testing we need sent to us here. I am not able to get any idea of what your problem is based on your above results, so I cant even give you an opinion or guess.

Oke, I understand this labratory uses different tests and reference values. Can you than please tell me if, in general, intralipids can be replaced by fish-oil capules?

its not the reference ranges that are the problem its the tests that were ordered were vastly incomplete to make any diagnosis. If you go to my testing page you will see what should have been ordered and maybe they can do this for you.
IL and fish oil have different uses based on what it is you are treating. So Im really sorry I know you want an answer but I cant give you an educated response without the correct information.

I have a rapport (PDF) with much more values. The problem is: intralipids is not available in the Netherlands so we have to travel abroad to get IL. And if we have to travel every week abroad that's undo able. If it is just 1 or 2 times we can arrange it. If purified fish oil capsules can help us too, we have something to try. We hope fish oil capsules is better than nothing.

Sorry, but we are really desperate and we really want to have the best possible chance of getting pregnant with our aCGH tested embryo.

My advice is always the same. Cancel the transfer and get the correct workup so you give your aCGH embryo a chance. More than this I can not help you with .
