FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer)

At Braverman IVF & Reproductive Immunology FET is successfully performed regularly. Frozen embryos are those that are not transferred during IVF cycles, but are cryopreserved for use in a later frozen embryo transfer. This process requires thawing the frozen embryo, and then transferring it to a woman's uterus. The advantage to FET is cost savings. When embryos are frozen and can be used from an earlier IVF retrieval, subsequent implantations are less costly.

If, during the course of your IVF cycle, more embryos are produced than are needed for transfer, we will offer you the opportunity to freeze the additional embryos (provided that they are suitable for freezing).
