Good afternoon Dr Braverman,

I have been researching the g-csf treatment for thin lining as I am a non responder and on both HRT and natural cycles do not get a lining over 4-5mm. I dont have any medical history and have a nice triple pattern lining, just very thin!

My fertility specilaist in Perth is going to trial the g-csf wash next cycle and I think I am one of the first in Perth to have it which is great.

My question though to you is seeing as you have some experience already have you had any luck with working on a lining so thin as 4mm previously, how much can I expect (if it works) for it go up by on average?

It has been very variable there has been no set amount that I see improvement with . But it does help certain patients and I think it is certainly a viable option for you. Let me know how it works for you.

Hi again Dr Braverman,

As requested, here is a run down of the outcome for the recent g-csf treatment I had for my thin lining issues.

I am doing a natural cycle this month, had a lining of 5.2 just prior to ovulation on Friday, I had the g-csf placed into my lining on Monday (assuming ovulation occurred over the weekend, as I did a trigger on Friday night), I also started progesterone pessaries on Monday morning as well.

I went back for my results today (Wednesday) and the lining has gone up to 7.5mm! Which is good for me as I never get above 6mm, so they are going to do a FET tomorrow even though it is not above 8, and will just have to see how we go.

The only issue noted is my lining was not triple striped (it normally is), so I am not sure if this is a result of the treatment, or if this happens after ovulation anyway? Maybe you might know? I also dont know if this will affect my chances of conceiving?

I will be sure to update the site as to whether I am lucky enough to get a positive pregnancy.

you are correct that it wont be trilaminar after ovulation and it sounds like you had a typical response, it is not always perfect but many times better.

Good Luck.
