G-CSF

Dr. Braverman, I have used G-CSF uterine infusion on two occassions in the last 6 months, and both times my lining has reached a minimum of 7mm. Without the G-CSF, my linings stall at 5-6mm - typically 5mm.

I want to make sure we are covering everything, including any immune responses. Does the fact that my lining increases with the G-CSF infusion raise any concern to possible immune issues? Do you ever prescribe a prophylatic regiment (e.g. steroids, etc.) to cover any possible immune or clotting issues without testing?

Okay in answer to your first question , no . The increase in your lining does not mean that you have an immune issue. G-CSF simply helps to remodel the lining by recruiting in "good" natrual killer cells and causing proliferation of endometrial cells.
No I do not recommend steroids without testing as you can actually begin to impair implantation by the treatment itself if it is not warranted.
