Good afternoon,
I am currently going through my fifth miscarriage. I have had two chemicals (current RE thinks they *may* have been early ectopics), one blighted ovum, one ectopic, and one currently at 6 weeks. My dx is luteal phase defect and blocked left fallopian tube. My thyroid and chromosomal karyotyping has been tested and are fine. My husband has not had not his chromosomes karyotyped. I have not been tested for immunological or clotting disorders. I am concerned that my current RE is missing something, as I continue to get pregnant, then lose it. I cannot make it past the 6th week of pregnancy. My initial betas for this pregnancy doubled appropriately (within 48 hours). I got pregnant with a FET; my first IVF did not work. My RE said I have great looking embryos, and he does not think it is an egg quality issue. What types of testing do you recommend for someone with RPL? Any information/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, it is hard to recommend any testing without getting your full history, certainly a complete immune work up is warranted, as well as a complete thrombophilia workup. Yes your husband should also be karyotyped. I would be happy to assist you in your workup and can coordinate your care with your local RE if you need.
