high tsh level

Prior to conception, I was on 100mcg of levothyroxin and my TSH level was 1.84.

Once I got my positive pregnancy test, my RE had me double my dose twice a week. (100mcg 5 days/wk, 200mcg 2 days/week) I'm currently 6w3d pg and my TSH level today was 3.05.

Is this concerning??

I like to see the TSH between .5 and 2 but I would not panic over a 3.09 ask your RE if you can take one extra pill per week that should bring it down. With your history I hope that you have had a more extensive workup and are on more medications than just synthroid. If not please call me to discuss your case. Your history plus the LAC are concerning , but easily treatable. many times there are associated conditions that need to be dealt with as well.
