Humira, Simponi ?

Hi Dr. Braverman,
From what I have read on the discussion board, it doesn't seem like you prescribe Simponi. Is that correct and if so, is there a reason why not? Humira did not work for me and now my center is suggesting Simponi. Would you mind sharing your thoughts on Simponi? Thank you for your time.

I have no objection to Simponi there is more experience with Humira and overall less side effects. But it is clear that when one does not work it is reasonable to try the other. I do reserve the anti TNFs for very high TNF at least over 40 and have been successful without needing to use it much.
