Hi Doctor,

I read alittle about the firstborn male issue and have a question. I have a firstborn male son. I have had 6 losses since then. However, 2 of the losses were late term. One at 17 weeks due to chorio/PPROM and the other at 24 weeks, stillbirth after no heartbeat. Ironically both of these were determined to be girls. It is possible that these pregnancies went further because they were female? It may be a longshot but i was just curious.

BTW, I am already registered with you and VERY much looking forward to working with you!

In HY restricting cases the immune system loses tolerance to many other paternal antigens so it would explain the losses even with girls. It is certainly something we will look into when we speak.
