Is there any hope?

I am 30yrs old with a history of 7 early pregnancy losses with no living children. I have been under the care of 2 RE's. I have had all of the necessary RPL testing. All which have come back negative. My 1st RE told me I had a slight progesterone deficiency. I was treated with progesterone supplements and went on to miscarry. I have had 2 endometrial biopsies, HSG and Saline Sono, all which were negative. Karyotyping results were normal for my husband however I have a pericentric inversion of Chromosome 9. We saw a Genetic Counselor who stated he does not believe my chromosomes are a cause of my RPL. All of my labwork has come back normal. I had 17 vials of blood, for auto immune diseases, etc. My husband and I were both treated for Ureaplasma with Doxycycline. I am at a loss here. I have asked both of my RE's about other testing, which both have said NK Cells and Reproductive Immunology are very controversial and they don't believe in it.
I know you don't have my records in front of you but do you think there is any hope for us? I am at the end of the road and just cannot come to terms with giving up at 30 years old.

With a history of 7 losses , normal genetics in both of you(the pericentric inversion is a normal variant), there is no question that your losses are either immune related or thrombophilic. The immune panel sent by your RE's most likely does not cover the most common issues related to immune rejection especially if they dont understand immunology or "beleive" in it. The evidence and the literature are quite clear of the significant role in your type of case and I can assure that we will find the problem and at your young age the outlook should be optimistic(ok Im always optimistic) but you should do well.
Call me for a consult and we can begin your workup , we still need to do additional testing on your husband as well and we can discuss that at the consult. The information on my website should go into enough detail for you to understand the many issues that have not been looked at yet, so dont loose any hope.

I hope you can still read the posts and I hope youve called Dr Braverman... The tests that he is talking about are what he had done for me and after just one cycle I got pregnant and stayed pregnant... I had 7 earlier miscarriages... and he was the only one to find what was wrong and help me have my baby..

good luck

Such a common story, I hope she calls me. It must be so scary to think there is no answer.

I did call Dr. Braverman and I have seen him for a consult. He was very thorough and very supportive.
I had all of the immune testing completed which did not show anything significant. Dr. Braverman and I discussed a plan for treatment for January.
Oddly and randomly, I ended up getting pregnant on my own, with no treatment at all.
I am now 7 wks 4 days pregnant and have reached the furthest point in 7 pregnancies that I ever have. I saw my first gestational sac, yolk sac which then by the next ultrasound, saw my first heartbeat. It was amazing.
I'm not sure what the outcome of this pregnancy will be but have hope that it will be a beautiful baby.

I'm sure Dr. Braverman knows who I am....
My journey with Our Medical Team began with a handshake and ended with a pregnancy!

Thank you for your reply to the post...and Thanks Dr. Braverman!
