How does Lovenox help anti-thyroid antibodies? How long would you recommend being on Lovenox for ATA's?

At a minimum it prevents complement fixation one of the methods by which antibodies cuase destruction of cells. Many with autoimmune conditions have underlying clotting issues that it helps with as well. I continue the medication based on clinical history sometimes stopping at 12 weeks and sometimes going through the entire pregnancy.

Thank you for the information. Would you recommend until 12 weeks for ATA's only and then the entire pregnancy for ATA's and clotting issues?

I cant commment on your case as I would need to know the entire clinical, family , and all laboratory data to make that recommendation. Suffice it to say that in my patients I treat at least unitl 12 weeks.
