Neupogen and cleft lip/palate

Hello Dr. Braverman. I have read countless message boards on using Neupogen to help with pregnancy. I also read a lot of message boards where they link a cleft lip/palate to the use of Neupogen on your first trimester.
I know you've treated countless of patients with neupogen, were any of those patients babies, born with a cleft lip/palate?
I want to schedule an appointment since i have had 4 failed IVF's with Donor eggs... But I am really scared to go on Neupogen. I was also wondering if doubling up on Folic acid while on neupogen will help minimize the defect....

Any reports you have read about Neupogen and cleft palate are not true, I assume these are rumors (as many are ) started by someone on a message board. Always request the literature people are quoting and read it for your self(or send it to me) if you want to be sure what you hear is correct.
