Dear Dr. Braverman,
I am about to start preparing for my next FET medicated cycle and I have another question for you: do you think that doing Neupogen washes before starting progesterone and HCG shots after progesterone start may be helpful? Could it instead bring any risk / make either one or both the drugs not work properly?
Thank you very much for this blog, it is so useful for so many of us!
Started trying for a baby in 2007. Diagnosed with PCOS. After a uterine septum surgical removal
several TTCs and a failed IVF cycle
at our 2nd IVF our son was conceived
he was born in 2010.
Since then
I've undergone 1 failed IVF cycle (1 fresh transfer and 3 frozen transfers) and 4 transfers (1 fresh
3 frozen) of my 2nd IVF
all failed. I have 5 frozen embryos left. All failures have been attributed to poor lining

I dont see a problem with using both and they seem to have similar mechanisms of action that should not work against each other. Of course(and as usual) I have to qualify that I dont know your case well so you must follow the advice of the doctor that is caring for you.
If you would like me to assist you , feel free to call my office and schedule a consultation and I would be happy to participate. Good Luck.

Thank you so much for your reply, Dr. Braverman.
I shall set up a phone consultation (I live in Italy) with you right away.
Since I'm not 100% sure that I'll speak to you before my first Neupogen wash, though, I would greatly appreciate if you could advise me on one last "spot" issue: as I have suffered from E. Coli endometritis in the past, and Neupogen is made from E. Coli produced G-CSF, I would like to ascertain that such drug can't cause the infection (I've the feeling that it is not "live" Or "active" E. Coli, but I'm no expert in the field, and my RE here is trying Neupogen washes on me for the first time, after having read a lot about it)

no risk at all from the infusion, just be sure of course that the area is thoroughly cleansed prior to the infusion.
