Trying to conceive for 4 years. Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 2 years ago. Diagnosed with mild endometriosis through laparoscopy (with fertility specialist) in November. History of polyps and painful cysts. 2 failed cycles on Femera. 5-6 months after lap, extreme pain returned. Lots of autoimmune disease in family history.

Considering seeing endo specialist to have excision surgery...Should this be my next step before moving forward with trying to conceive?

Main priority is getting pregnant. Not sure I'm comfortable with iui or ivf. Wondering if meds could control my immune issues and help me conceive. I notice a lot of issues right after ovuation (ulcerative colitis flares, migraine headaches, acne). All bloodwork always comes back normal. I've heard of people using prednisone around ovulation to help get pregnant. Is this something you might consider if I become a patient?

with your history I would need a complete workup before I could make recommendations, but if there is endometriosis I beleive it is always of benefit to try and debulk it as much as possible. I would be happy to assist you but with your history its not simply a qeuston of "do I need prednsione" but a complete treatment protocol based on all your information.
