Not sure about these numbers

Hi Dr. Braverman,

I received my blood work results and was told the problems are the matches and the NK cell activation. However, it seems from what I have read on your website (which is incredible by the way) that none of these numbers are the actually problematic? I am concerned that I haven't found the real answer for 4 failed IVF transfers yet.

The blood work was all done at RIA

the RIP, Anti-TPO, and THAB were all normal

DQ Beta: Me: 03,03 DH: 03,03
HLA A: Me: 01,31 DH: 02,02
HLA B: Me: 07,57 DH 15,44
HLA C: Me: 06,07 DH: 03,05
HLA DRB1: Me: 04,07 DRB4 present, DH: 04,11 DRB3, DRB4 present
DQ Alpha: Me: 2.0,3.0 DH: 3.0,4.1

The NK cell assay:

IVIG
Native:
1:50: 14.2
1:25: 10.8
1:12.5: 7.1

IL-2:
1:50: 11.7
1:25: 9.3
1:12.5: 6.3

IVIg 12.5
1:50: 12.7
1:25: 7.8
1:12.5: 4.8

IVIg 6.5
1:50: 17.2
1:25: 10.8
1:12.5: 10.2

Intralipid

Native
1:50: 13.7
1:25: 9.8
1:12.5: 6.0

IL-2
1:50: 10.0
1:25: 9.6
1:12.5: 8.6

IL2000
1:50: 17.3
1:25: 11.1
1:12.5: 3.3

Do these numbers show activated NK cells? Are the matches a problem? Is there something else I should be looking at?

Thanks!

Dr. Braverman

I think you are missing some valuable information. cytokine production , NKT cells to name a few. You must always coorelate these tests with the clinical history as well. I would be happy to help you, please feel free to call my office and they can schedule a consultation for you.
