Do you ever recommend omega three supplements to help with auto immune problems? What dosage would you recommend?

Thanks!

It depends on the problem, but omega 3 are excellent at lowering TNF and decreasing NK cell activation. Doses would range from 1,000 to 4,000mg / day . They should be purified as well.

Ive been using nordic naturals, which are supposed to be top quality. I am a thin Pcoser and I know that usually comes along with elevated tnf-alpha, so Im trying to be a bit proactive Also taking 5000 iu of vitamin d3.

another question... my ferritin levels just came back at 26.6, my endo did not flag this as low but I have read that optimal for conception and hair growth (I have sever hairloss) levels need to be in the 40-50 range, correct? I have was taking over 70 units of elemental iron a day for over a year... just upped it to about 125 a day... is there a chance it will NEVER go up? Is there another treatment and can that affect implantation? I had a very early ivf miscarriage recently..
