PCOS???

I have thought for four years that I have PCOS. At my recent OB followup appointment, he stated that I don't really have PCOS. All I have is polycystic ovaries and a 35-42 day cycle, no other PCOS symptoms. Since I don't have a problem getting pregnant, only staying pregnant, then he said I don't actually have PCOS. From what he is saying PCOS would prevent a pregnancy to occur not cause a miscarriage (early or late miscarriage). Would you agree with this?

PCOS is a cause of recurrent pregnancy loss. He is not correct about this. This can be treated and you should be able to carry a pregnancy successfully. Please feel frree to call me for a consult and I would be happy to help you with this.

Would you agree that having polycystic ovaries on ultrasound and a 35-42 day cycle would not be a diagnosis of PCOS?
