PGD for single gene disorder

Dr B,

i am currently in the process of working with a lab to do PGD for a single gene disorder. My husband has polycystic kidney disease. that is the only reason we are doing it. The whole process is quite a headache but we are trying to stay positive. Do you not recommend PGD in the case of single gene disorder either?
