Hi there,

Just wondering if you think PGD is beneficial for people with repeat miscarriage? I have had 4 chemicals (all lost under 5 weeks) in 2 years. My husband and I are both Homozygous MTHFR, I have endometriosis stage 3 (removed recently) but my egg quality may be questionable - I am 36, husband 32. My response to IVF has been pretty poor, sticky eggs etc, but haven't done a cycle since having endo removed.

We have had full testing done with 23 and me, no significant genetic defects were found so is there benefit in doing PGD? We don't have mitochondrial testing here - I am not in USA.

Thanks!

No I would not do PGD , but after the surgery I would try and make new embryos. You should also be taking supplements to improve mitochondrial funciton as well.
