Hi Dr Braverman,

Ive read on your forum about thin lining and basalis layer.

Can pipelle biopsies carry risks for removing the basalis layer? I have quick biopsies done before my IVF cycles (2) as a study showed my doctor said mild injury-inflammation may improve implatation.

However, they were carried out when I was just about to come of the BCP (was on this in the run up to cycle becuse of endo) and so the lining was obviously very thin. They were done about 6 days before I had bleed after pill.

Does this mean I could have ruined my lining?
