Recurrent miscarraiges Posted on: Dec 26, 2010 at 9:23pm
Hi, I am 30yrs old I have had 4 miscarraiges 3 were at 5weeks and one at 8weeks. I have had many test run and all the doctors say is everything is normal ( apparently not if I cont. to miscarry.) Everytime I have had a miscarraige I can feel like a needle poking me inside right in the center of my lower abdomen. Is there any hope for my husband and I??

Hi Melissa,

so many of the patients that contact me have the same story as you. They are told there is no explanation for thier lossess. I will promise you that at least Ill find the problem, and the good news is that most of the time there are excellent treatment options.
You should not despair as Im sure you have not had a complete workup yet. Rather than my asking whether you have had certain tests , why dont you fax or email what was done and ill take a look at it for you. If it seems there is alot left to be done((as is usually the case) , we can quickly arrange a telephone consultation and I can then get your full history and recommend what you should do to complete your workup.
I hope I can be of service to you.

Thank you for your response:) I am in the process of getting all my medical history/ labs/test preformed ready to send but I have a quick question!! Although we have been trying we have been unable to get pregnant since our last MC in May of 2010 my question is our ob gave us clomid to start after my next cycle but I am really ?'ing taking it cause I don't want another miscarraige and he keeps telling me that all my test are fine and that if I have another MC it cause it genetic. What are your thoughts on this??
Thanks

I would not try and conceive again until after we find the reason for your losses , it will only take us one month to get everything done so it wont be a long delay.

Hi,
my husband and I had decided to give the baby thing a rest for a year so we could get our emotions back in place. Well about 45min ago I took a pregnacy test cause I was one day late and had a very positive test. Now I know most people would be exited but I am not we were not trying and I am just waiting for the ball to drop and have another miscarraige. Is there any thing I can do at this point to hopefully prevent a miscarraige, I am willing to call you asap and do whatever it is I need to do. I am so worried:(
