Rising HCG but dropping progesterone

Hello Dr, Braverman,
I have had a healthy pregnancy after 8 losses and I had a consult with you then. Thank you for the restored hope and help you gave to me!
I am currently pregnant 5 weeks pregnant and my hcg levels are rising beautifully. First draw was 163 at 4 weeks and 3377 at 5 weeks. But my progesterone has gone from 153 to 67 in a week. I started progesterone supplements (prometrium, 200 mg vaginally) the day after the first draw. What would cause progesterone to drop and is it a cause of concern if the hcgs are still rising?

No I am not concerned about the levels they fluctuate rapidly and you still have an excellent level and also on progesterone supplementation. I dont know the rest of your history but this alone is not an issue.
