Yes, we will collaborate with your local RE or OBGYN and provide all the immune therapy details and medication list in your protocol. It is essential before you begin, that your local doctors (Physicians overseeing your fertility cycle/not a third-party physician) will agree to prescribe all the necessary medications. BRI cannot be the prescribing party.

After Completing the “Consultation Request”, you will receive an email link in approximately 30 minutes. This Link will direct you to your “Patient Portal”. Please make one request, multiple requests will “lock” your account for security.
The Intake Process will be completed on your “Dashboard” – On a computer. Any missing pages will delay your Coordination.

What to Expect at Your TeleMed Consultation
During your initial telemed consultation with Dr Thornton, he will review your medical and fertility history as well as any genetic and immune testing you may have had and uploaded to your patient portal.
If you have had immune testing through your local doctor, it may be sufficient for management and to generate your protocol. If Dr Thornton feels that additional testing is necessary, he will discuss and initiate a plan for our BRI Proprietary Testing Panel.
After this initial telemed consultation, our patient coordinator will reach out to you via email 48 to 72 hours with instructions for the next steps. This will include establishing financial clearance to continue with our management service.
If you are waiting to begin a cycle with your local fertility center or obgyn, we ask that you do not start any cycle until all the results are complete and you have had your immune review consultation.
Be aware, no testing will be ordered, no protocol or treatment plan will be dispensed until patients are financially cleared for coordination.

What to Expect as a New Immune Management Patient
- Once you decide that our Immune Management service is right for you, Dr Thornton will order the testing discussed at your telemed consultation.
- Financial Clearance is required for all patients who want our involvement in their care.
- After your test results are completed, you will have a second teleMed consultation to review the results of your testing and further discuss your treatment plan with Dr Thornton.
- Our medical team will design your specific protocol, medication list, treatment plan and collaborate with your local fertility center for your upcoming fertility cycle.

Is the telemedicine consultation virtual or in-person?
Your consultation with Dr. Thornton will be virtual only. You'll receive a Zoom link via email on the morning of your appointment. Please join the link 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time and wait if necessary for Dr. Thornton to finish with a previous patient.
Will insurance cover my telemedicine consultation?
We submit claims for Out of Network benefits, but payment ($350) is required at the appointment. Any reimbursement comes directly to you after processing. For In-Network HMO/EPO, High Deductible, or Catastrophic plans, you're considered Self-Pay and must pay the same fee upfront.
Is immune testing discussed on the consultation?
Yes. During your initial telemedicine consultation, we assess your medical/fertility history to decide if immune testing would be beneficial. If you choose to proceed with testing, our staff will contact you within 48–72 hours with instructions. A $3,000 management fee will be due upfront prior to proceeding with immune management, no exceptions. If you've had previous testing, we may use those results or recommend additional testing.
Can you work with my local fertility doctor or OBGYN?
What if I already had immune testing done elsewhere?
If you've had previous immune testing, you'll have a new telemedicine consultation to review your previous tests with Dr. Thornton. He'll review your previous tests, medical/fertility history and make a recommendation. Keep in mind, that additional testing may be recommended, if necessary. Any necessary testing aside, a $3,000 management fee will be due upfront prior to proceeding with immune management, no exceptions. If you decide to proceed, our staff will contact you within 48-72 hours with instructions.
What testing will be ordered and what are the costs?
Dr. Thornton will order the proprietary BRI Advanced Baseline Panel to support your fertility cycle(s). Laboratory fees are separate from any management fee and will depend on your insurance coverage. For uninsured patients, the BRI Advanced Baseline Panel costs approximately $1,800, though this may vary based on the specific laboratory used. Additionally depending on your situation, additional testing may be recommended.
Are management services covered by insurance?
Unfortunately, management services are not covered by insurance. Since they do not meet the CMS criteria as "billable", patients have to pay out of pocket for this service. Understanding your personal insurance coverage and benefits is ultimately your responsibility.
If I am in the middle of a cycle, can I be managed faster?
No! Do not start any cycle until Dr. Thornton has analyzed your results and consulted on your treatment plan and protocol. No exceptions to this policy.
Is Pregnancy Management mandatory once I'm pregnant?
Should I be evaluated for Endometriosis & Adenomyosis?

What is "Financial Clearance"?
To receive our care, patients must be financially cleared and registered as active Management Patients with paid management fees. We cannot offer recommendations, order testing, or design treatment plans without financial clearance. No exceptions to this policy.
